How to Buy a Product on AliExpress - DIY Guide

Buying product(s) from Jumia and Konga is easy with Debit Card issued by any of the Nigerian banks but buying products from AliExpress is not, because unlike Jumia and Konga, AliExpress processes payments in US Dollars. To purchase any product on AliExpress, you must have a dollar card. And not just on AliExpress but also on Amazon, eBay, Wish or any other E-commerce websites that processes payments in US Dollars.

When I say Debit Card, I'm talking about your ATM Card.

Kindly be aware that you can't use any Naira Debit Card to buy products on AliExpress even if it's a MasterCard.

So, Where can I Get a Dollar Card?

I know of two ways you can get a Dollar Card in Nigeria. One is opening a domiciliary account in banks such as United Bank for Africa (UBA), Zenith Bank, First Bank or any other banks that support this service.
