Vanity Fair Oscars Party 2019 Best Hairstyles and Makeup - Allure Magazine

Oscars 2019 brought us some seriously gorgeous beauty looks, hilarious memes, killer style moments, and cute guys wearing some of our favorite makeup products. But that's not it for the evening because the annual Vanity Fair Oscars Party was starting just as the last award was given out.

Stars trickled out of the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, did a quick outfit change, and raced to the after party, which was held in Beverly Hills. They joined some major celebrities who might not have gotten an Oscars invite but showed up to the after party looking glam, including Chrissy Teigen, Miley Cyrus, Adriana Lima, and Mindy Kaling to name a few. And these looks did not disappoint. In fact, they might even be better here than at the award show (stars tend to take more chances when they're less likely to show up on Worst Dressed lists). Peep some of our favorites, below.

Harry, Meghan, Will and Kate all smiles at Commonwealth Service despite 'feud' gossip - USA TODAY

Posted: 11 Mar 2019 12:00 AM PDT

The young royal in-laws, Harry and Meghan and Will and Kate, made their second joint appearance since Christmas on Monday, all smiles and not a hint of their supposed "feud" showing as they gathered with the queen and royal family for the annual Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey.

It was Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan of Sussex's second appearance of the day connected to the Commonwealth – and Meghan had changed clothes.

For the abbey service, which marks Commonwealth Day, the pregnant duchess wore a white long coat over a white dress with a black pattern, plus a white pillbox-style hat perched on the back of her head, her hair in an elegant chignon. She carried a green clutch and wore green stilettos.

Meanwhile, Duchess Kate of Cambridge stood out in a bright red Catherine Walker double-breasted coat with gold buttons marching down the front, a saucer-shaped fascinator on her head, and taupe high heels and clutch.

The two couples also were seen together last week at Buckingham Palace when they gathered with the rest of the royal family to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles' investiture as the Prince of Wales at a reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II.

Although the brothers and their wives were all smiles at the annual Christmas Day service at Sandringham, when they all walked to church together, since then rumors of a supposed feud between Meghan and Kate or Will and Harry have swirled in the tabloid press.

Kensington Palace has declined to comment on the rumors and claims of extraordinary tension between the couples have not been confirmed. Thus, their rare joint appearances are eagerly perused for signs.

Earlier on Monday, during a visit to Canada House, Duchess Meghan looked ready for St. Patrick's Day in a forest green coat with black embroidered accents. She and Harry visited the Canadian base in London to celebrate Canadians living in the U.K.

And while Meghan's outfit may not have been in Canada's national colors of red and white, it was from a Canadian designer: Erdem.

Meghan paired the look with a couple of beloved wardrobe staples: black Aquazzura slingback heels and a matching Givenchy satin clutch.

Although Meghan is American, Canada holds a special place for her since she spent years living in Toronto while filming "Suits," the legal drama on the USA cable channel in which she starred for seven years.

Also, both she and Harry have been appointed by the queen to major roles in the Commonwealth, which includes 53 countries and almost 2.4 billion people. The organization, which is dear to the queen marks its 70th anniversary.

Canada holds a special place in Meghan's heart among Commonwealth nations: she lived in Toronto while making her USA series "Suits." And iIt's where she met Harry and it's where they took their romance public in 2016.
