There is no denying Hilary Duff is a proud new mother.

And the Lizzie McGuire star was melting the hearts of her fans again after posting another adorable picture of her son Luca on Twitter.

The ambrosial youngster is developing well, and at just over a month old is already holding his head up while getting in a workout by lying flat on his stomach.

The 24-year-old is pleased as punch with the way her little soldier is coming along.

She told fans: 'Tummy time stud muffin, lifting his head like that.'

Refreshingly, the actress is admitting she is struggling to get back into peak shape following his birth on March 20.

However the down-to-earth star said she is not going to 'stress' about losing her baby weight.

But she already looks like she is getting on top of her battle with the bulge as she went for lunch at the Daily Grill in Studio City, Los Angeles today

Earlier this week she underlined the point as she picked up a sweet treat following a spot of grocery shopping with her former NHL star husband Mike Comrie, gorging on some tasty frozen yoghurt.

A month on from giving birth, Hilary has reintroduced cardio into her fitness regime but is resisting going to extremes to slim down.
She said: 'I just started about a week ago at SoulCycle and I'm addicted to it.
'It's a great workout and it's perfect because it's only forty-five minutes. Where else can you sweat like that in forty-five minutes?'
'I'm working out because I honestly missed it during my pregnancy - getting in that good, hard workout. I need endorphins in my life to be a happy person.
'I want my body back but I'm not freaked out or anything - just working out and trying to eat a little bit healthier.'
