NIGERIANS GROAN AS POWER SUPPLY AND FUEL SCARCITY WORSENS

Poor power supply and scarcity of fuel has continued to plague businesses and homes in Nigeria in the past few weeks.
Those who have the purchasing power to buy as much petrol as they want cannot because of the scarcity of the product.
The queues at the petrol stations are endless and petrol is sold at N200 per litre in most places.
Power generation and distribution have continued to drop. Most homes use generator almost all day.
Petroleum Product Marketers have complained of government's neglect and insensitivity and have warned that the current scarcity of petrol may go beyond May 29 hand over date. Many Nigerians have wondered aloud whether Goodluck Jonathan's government intends to hand over a messy environment to the new government as they have in the past sorted out any issues with oil marketers promptly.
