Former Homeboyz Radio presenter Nick Ndeda has solidified the ongoing speculations by revealing that he indeed underwent a vasectomy procedure some few years back during his 7-year relationship with his ex-girlfriend Muthoni Gitau.
Taking a swipe on critics in a series of posts on Twitter, the 32-year-old said that his ex-wife at no point coerced him to undergo a vasectomy since Kenyans had been trolling him for having a weak ‘‘Masculine frame”amid their break up.
“One final thing on this matter, I did not get a vasectomy for her. I did that for me because I also do not want kids. Any other questions, not up for debate or discussion,” the post read.
According to Wikipedia, Vasectomy is a minor surgery that men procure to prevent them from siring children and Mr. Ndeda confirmed going through the minor surgery as he and Muthoni did not intend to have children.
When he was at the tender age of 17, the media personality came to a conscious decision of not having children and even affirmed that his parents do not expect any grandchildren from him whatsoever.
The breakup Kenyans never saw coming between Nick and Muthoni soon elicited a cocktail of reactions from netizens, making them the trending topics across social media through the first week of July.
According to netizens, Nick is still smitten with Muthoni who is considered the more authoritative individual during their 7-year relationship.
The former radio presenter further addressed the claims that he under the spell of manipulation by his ex-wife.
“There is a single video or thing that I did in the 7 years we were together that I did because I was forced to. Muthoni is a great woman and just because we aren’t together now is no reason for the rude insensitive and dumb comments.
“As we said, we were just letting you know. Whatever random mess you think you know that’s on you,” he posted on Twitter.
In a recently published Youtube video, the couple disclosed that their shared goals were no longer tenable and according to Nick, there is a bit of laxity in pursuing their shared goals since Muthoni was making most of the effort.
On her part, Muthoni affirmed that she is beyond excited to join the dating pool as she had no business getting into a relationship at 23-years-old which isolated her from the dating experience.
“After 7 years, this feels like the best decision for both of us. The plan is to grow and heal as individuals as we evaluate what we want moving forward,” a statement on their YouTube platform.
The two clarified that the channel would continue running under Muthoni as Nick focuses on his personal endeavors.
“This decision was not made overnight. It has been three months of thinking and talking to professionals. There are also certain external factors that have contributed to the decision.
“There are also certain people that made the decision very easy, certain people… I know they are watching so that they can make phone calls, do it!” Muthoni said.
