Neon Hitch Releases New "Freedom" and "Sparks" Tracks

Lovely gypsy-pop crooner Neon Hitch has been working extremely hard on getting her anticipated debut album, Eleutheromaniac, out to her devoted fan base. Following the conclusion of her Yard Sale Tour, the "Gold" singer is still moving forward by releasing two incredible tracks off the upcoming project. We all now get to enjoy the empowering "Freedom" and inspiring "Sparks". #WeRNeon!

When I had the chance to sit down for an interview with the talented artist during the Austin, Texas stop of her flawless tour back in November, Neon Hitch stated that she hoped the new album would be a reintroduction of some sort, a way to get her story out to as many people as possible.

"I've already started to see in the eyes of my fans what they will take away from this album, and it’s amazing, it’s emotional. That’s what I live for,” she said. “I love to help, and I feel like music is my talent, I can’t do anything else. I hope to inspire and change people’s lives for the better and open their minds.”

On "Freedom", the 28-year-old recalls the difficulties she faced growing up, but reassures her followers that no one needs money to be free. "We are broken, but we're fucking beautiful, we got no money, but everything is alright", she sings as the new track embodies an important message of strength and support. Built around an uplifting chorus, the instrumentals and vocals of Neon Hitch just become the icing on top of solid songwriting and a refreshing personality.

The artist released a supporting visual to go along with the new single, showcasing the adventures the artist experienced while on tour this past year. Drinking with friends, excited fans, crazy antics... it all embodies the message the song puts forward, and the message Neon Hitch's career is all about. It works perfectly.

For the ballad-esque "Sparks", a buzzed about release among her fans, the artist does not disappoint as the four-minute track becomes a radiant and sentimental message of love. Not necessarily only targeting those in a committed relationship, but a love expressed in many forms, by friends, by family, it appears to be a call for universal love.

The track was performed live during her tour, trust me when I say she knocked it out of the park, but having the chance to finally hear the touching song in its finished state is pretty damn exciting. "I'll love you till death do us part, till the very last beat of my heart," she delicately sings on the heartwarming hook. "Sparks" is a simple, heartfelt song that comes off as a raw, sweet performance coming straight from the heart.

Neon Hitch is one of the hardest working independent artist I have ever had the chance to see perform. She unfortunately may have not achieved her IndieGoGo goal to fully fund Eleutheromaniac, but it is definitely not slowing her down. She continues to fight. If the entire album contains brilliant moments like "Freedom" and "Sparks", the artist has a global hit on her hands. Good luck love!
